Giustranti Penthouse

Valbrembo, Italy, 1989

Built. This project had to comply with the restricted zoning rule of no volume increase. A new strategy was needed for this small and compressed space, that would also favorably take into account the presence of a beautiful frontal view of the westward hills of Bergamo. An answer was found in the design of a unit composed of a dining table connected to an exterior curved glass  that would rotate out onto a new semi-circular and partially enclosed terrace.
