Andreoletti Twin Houses

Vertova, Italy, 1988

Design proposal. Two Andreoletti brothers intended to build their own houses on a steeped terrain above the town of Vertova. This mountainous area is known for hiking and bird hunting. The design inspiration came right from the small hunting shacks that are found here and there. The round walls of these identical houses span the valley and their projection from the respective open lower floors accentuate their scouting presence.
