Adams Penthouse

Monk-Chunck, Pennsyvania, 1991

Design proposal. The task for this small house was to create a habitable penthouse space. The new roof addition keeps the existing outlines of the facades and, at the same time, distinguishes itself with its curvilinear form in a dynamic interplay with the natural slope of the mountain. The new access to the penthouse is located on the slope side of the hill.
